A project is an interesting website, web application, service, mobile app or similar that is designed to sell a product or service, charging its customers.
A project owner is a start-up (or anyone, really) who wishes their project to be promoted by anyone who's interested.
A promoter is anyone who believes in a particular project and wants to promote it for substantial share of the profits of the project.

If you have a new project you want to promote

Are you a small start-up business, a one-person software shop who cannot afford ad campaigns, employees or branches in other countries but offer products that may be immensely useful to many? It is a chicken and egg problem, isn't it. No money, no advertising, nobody knows. Nobody knows, no money. That is where ProfitShare.ninja offers a new way that benefits everybody - it helps useful projects to spread and brings rewards to their creators as well as their promoters, while spreading the service to more and more appreciative customers.

Many small entrepreneurs would be quite happy to share their profits with anyone who helps them to get new customers, once they are themselves paid. And ProfitShare.ninja offers a platform that manages such a setup and spread wide and quick.

With ProfitShare.ninja you register your project (usually a website or a mobile app or an online store), chose which countries you are happy to spread into and offer a substantial percentage of your actual* profit margin to anyone who advertises your service in any way, online or offline. The offered profit margin should not be less than 10%, but 50 and more % will be more of a norm, not an exception.

You must implement a very simple API - just a single call - and agree to use it to report all purchases (transactions) by customers that came through an advertiser's link or who supplied an offline token that identifies the promoter. Your database will need to store this one piece of information but that's it.

You can set any number of different transaction types and set offered profit share percentages for each separately or you can set just one global percentage.

Do you want to know more? Then go to the Start-ups page.

* Your actual profit margin may range from just a few percent to close to 100% depending on the product or service you sell. You are required to explain your profit breakdown in simple terms. See more here. The share you offer is a share of what you make on the product or service you offer, NOT a percentage of the sales price.

If you want to earn money by promoting a project

Instead of paying ad services like Google Adwords, Facebook Ads or similar in advance, many businesses will be happier to pay YOU and pay you a bigger share of their profits as long as they can pay it AFTER they themselves receive the payments from their customers. If you bring them these customers, the profit share is yours!

You can be anybody and you may just want to passively include a link or a graphical ad in your blog, your website or your Facebook page. Or, you may like a project and believe in it so much that you will take it on as a business of your own and start actively looking for customers to bring to the business. With some projects it may even become your main source of income - you may effectively become a country-wide branch of the project owner's company, which may give you the necessary negotiation tools to set up a direct agreement with the original application maker to become an exclusive distributor of the service.

It is very easy to become a registered promoter of a project. All you need is to find the project or projects you like and click the "I want to promote this" button on the project's detail page. You will instantly have access to a personalized link that you can use anywhere online to be linked with any customer that clicks it an purchases anything from the target website or app. The purchase does not have to happen the first time the potential customer uses your link to enter the project's website. If they at least register there, then when they return and make a purchase any time in the next 12 months this purchase will be recorded on ProfitShare.ninja and you will get the promised profit share. You will get your profit share also from any future purchases by this customer within the next 12 months.

If you don't have your own blog and not even an account in one of the many existing social websites, where you could share your link regularly you are at least likely to have an email. And depending on the service, potentially everybody or a certain specific group of your email contacts may be interested in the service you discovered listed on ProfitShare.ninja. Including the link in an email sent to such group of people will work equally well.

Maybe the service you discovered would be absolutely great if there was good participation in it in your local area. But you do not know all the email addresses or all the people in that area. In that case you can use our leaflet templates to create, print and distribute to every local mailbox a call to join with either the same link or a coupon to use on the target website to receive a discount on all future purchases made within 12 months. By doing so you may build a community that benefits all in your local area and at the same time directly benefit from all of its purchases. There is no constraint to your marketing imagination.

As a promoter you too have a tool available to attract and keep your customers. You can offer to pass a part of your profit share onto the final customer. The customer would receive their share in the form of a direct discount on the product or service they purchase and therefore wanting to use your personalized coupon. That ensures that you also will get paid even if they did used your personalized redirection link.
